The NYC Skyline at sunset

Well because my camera is currently broken, I digged in the archives and thought this would be a good picture to share. I took this picture during the transit strike last winter on the Brooklyn Bridge on my way home from work. I remember it was really cold and extremely windy. So it was pretty hard to keep the camera still especially because I didn't use flash (that's why the image is blurry) but it was taken without a tri-pod and sometime around 6 at night. What I like about this picture is that it looks extra illuminated and shot it right before the sun has set.

View the work of Yousef Karsh

Karsh used his lighting right in front of the subjects face where it appears the subject is using a blow torch. It does appear that the gentleman could be working in a factory or plantation burning metal. So he decided to light up his entire right side as if he's welding metal.
